Will I need an appointment?

Yes. We recommend that you schedule any non-emergency service to ensure your vehicle is serviced as quickly as possible. Scheduled service appointments receive priority. You may call 703 448-2289, schedule online at: http://www.porscheoftysons.com/schedule-service-online.aspx
or stop by to reserve a date and time.

May I drop off before or after service hours?

Yes. Porsche of Tyson’s has a key drop box.  Simply park and lock your vehicle in the customer parking area and deposit your key in the drop box located near the service drive entrance.  Please use the provided envelope for your key and provide your contact information and a brief description of your service needs.  A service representative will contact you to confirm that your vehicle has been received.

What if my Porsche becomes inoperable?

Call Porsche Roadside Assistance at 1-800-PORSCHE. They will dispatch a roadside technician and flatbed tow to make repairs or will make arrangements to deliver it to the nearest Porsche dealership.

If your vehicle is out of factory warranty, please call Riley’s Towing at 703-448-3999. Tell them you are a Porsche of Tyson’s client. Your vehicle will be towed to our service facility and a service representative will contact you to confirm the vehicle has arrived and to review any concerns.

Are my repairs covered under Warranty?

The factory warranty periods begin on the day of delivery to the customer. The following periods apply:

4 year / 50,000 mile (80,000 km) warranty for all new vehicles (whichever occurs first)*.

There is a 2-year warranty for genuine Porsche parts, exchange parts and accessories, which are used or sold outside of warranty work. The warranty period for Porsche parts which are used in connection with a warranty repair ends at the expiration of the new car warranty.

12-year long-life warranty against rust holes in the body shell. Please refer to the conditions in the Warranty and Maintenance handbook.

Certified Pre-Owned Warranty is 2 years / 100,000 miles (160,000 km), once the vehicle is outside the original vehicle warranty period.

Factory warranty can be claimed from any Porsche partner across the world.

*Applies for vehicles purchased and registered in the USA and Canada (outside the USA and Canada 2 years / unlimited miles).

Please be advised that unless you have purchased the Porsche Scheduled Maintenance Plan, scheduled maintenance and wear items are not covered under factory warranty.

May I purchase additional warranty coverage?

Yes. Porsche of Tyson’s can provide and honor an aftermarket extended warranty as well.  For more information about vehicle eligibility and the types of coverage available, call 703-564-6200 and ask to speak with someone in our finance department.

What if my Porsche needs body repairs?

If your vehicle is damaged, call our body shop personnel at 703-790-3220 or click the following link: http://www.tysonscornercollisioncenter.com/ . They can answer all of your collision repair questions and assist you with scheduling an appointment. Tyson’s Corner Collision Center is a certified Porsche collision repair facility and works with all insurance companies.

Do you offer alternative transportation while my Porsche is serviced?

Yes. We have many options for alternate transport while your vehicle is serviced:

We provide a shuttle service to your home or place of business within 5 miles of our facility. Special consideration will be made for any greater distance.

For most repairs, rental vehicles are available and are free of charge for the first 24 hours your vehicle is in for service.  Any additional days, gasoline, and/or insurance charges are not covered by Porsche of Tyson’s and will be your responsibility. Keep in mind that parts availability and other factors beyond our control can affect the length of time your vehicle is in for service.  You will still be responsible for additional rental days and any associated fees.  You may call or stop by any Enterprise location to make changes to your contract in regards to elective insurance coverage and other fees not covered by our facility.  Consult your service advisor for alternative transport options if this will be an inconvenience.

How do I share information about my service experience with Porsche North America?

That’s easy. While we strive to provide all our clients with “Excellent” service, all comments and suggestions as to how we can better serve you are welcome. Simply share your email address with your advisor at the time of write-up to receive a client survey within 24 hours of your completed service.
